Welcome to the Leicestershire Indoor Bowling Association (LIBA) Official Website.

The County Indoor Association was formed and registered in 1979 by a number of players from the Leicester Slater Street Indoor Bowling Club.

The Association is made up of 7 affiliated indoor clubs which include Barwell, Carlton (Enderby), Charnwood (Loughborough), Church Gresley, Harborough & District (Market Harborough), Leicester (Slater Street) and Melton & District all of whom have a collective male membership of around 2,000. The Association is affiliated to the English Indoor Bowling Association (EIBA) the Midland Counties Indoor Bowling Association (MCIBA) and the Midland Seniors League (MSIBL).

Due to Covid19 our usual bowling program which normally includes a variety of friendly fixtures against other Counties or Associations, plus competitive fixtures in the County Club Inter-League, Midland Counties Warwickshire Trophy and Midland Seniors League, were all Cancelled for the 2020/21 season.

The Counties involvement in (EIBA) National competitions including the Liberty Trophy, Over 60’s, Under 25’s Double Rinks and the Under 18’s Open Triples were also cancelled for the 2020/21 season.

Tentative fixtures for the 2021/22 season have been agreed and decisions regarding County Competitions will be held during the first quarter of 2021.


The County finals are normally ran with the County Indoor Ladies Association during April each year and includes qualifiers in the Under 16,18 & 25 competitions along with Club Champions from Affiliated clubs.
