Welcome to the Leicestershire Indoor Bowling Association (LIBA) Official Website.

The County Indoor Association formed and registered in 1979 by a number of players from the Leicester Slater Street Indoor Bowling Club is made up of 7 affiliated indoor clubs which include Barwell, Carlton (Enderby), Charnwood (Loughborough), Church Gresley, Harborough & District (Market Harborough), Leicester (Slater Street) and Melton & District.

 

These clubs have a combined membership in excess of 2,500 with players ranging from 7 to 97 and beyond. (For more information follow the affiliated club link)

We are affiliated to the English Indoor Bowling Association (EIBA) the Midland Counties Indoor Bowling Association (MCIBA) and the Midland Seniors League (MSIBL).

 

We are extremely proud to have players at all levels within the County and in particular those who have represented their Clubs and the County at National and International level.

 

We have a full match program throughout the indoor season which includes a variety of Inter-County fixtures and competitive matches including the Midland Seniors League.

In addition, the County takes part in the (EIBA) National competitions each season including the Liberty Trophy, Over 60's rinks, Under 25’s Double Rinks and the Under 18’s Open Triples.  

 

Affiliated County clubs are also invited to compete each season in the Inter-League competition with the winners receiving the much coveted Bradley Trophy. (see competition link for details).

Club Champions are invited to compete in the County finals championships, this year being hosted by Barwell Indoor & Melton Indoor over the weekends of April 6th/7th & 13th/14th 2024.

 

The season concludes with a County Dinner & Presentation evening at Barwell IBC on the 27th April 2024, to celebrate County winners and the years achievement's.
